With this end in view, we have culled from the Garden of the Holy Ghost, the Lives of the Saints of the Church, many choice and varied blooms, which seem to us to set forth better than any discourse, the work and characteristics of the Holy Spirit.
It was to make Saints that the Holy Ghost was sent upon this earth, and it is the Saints who can best teach us by their own lives, what this Beneficent Friend and Comforter can and will do for us all if we but let Him.”
