14-month Traditional Catholic Calendar

The clergy of the Roman Catholic Institute are pleased to present a religious calendar for the Year of Our Lord 2026. The Practical Catholic Calendar follows the rubrics promulgated by St. Pius X for the Universal Calendar of the Church. Feasts proper to the United States of America have been added.

The laws of fasting and abstinence followed throughout the calendar are those adopted for the United States at the annual meeting of the Conference of U.S. Bishops in 1951.

In accordance with the principles of the Roman Catholic Institute, the pre-1955 rubrics are followed throughout the calendar.

To allow room for making notes on the calendar, the calendar follows a two-page format, rather than having a full-page image accompanying each month. For the sake of convenience, secular holidays of the United States are also included.

The calendar includes the Liturgical Year “at a glance” for both 2026 and 2027, as well as the calendar for the months of December 2025 and January 2027.
